EU delayed flights and your legal rights

You might remember my earlier post in which I described how a aeroplane computer fault lead to a five hour delay flying from London Heathrow to MontrĂ©al Trudeau. Well, it’s worth remembering your rights in these circumstances. If you are:

  • flying to the European Union (EU) on an European Union carrier
  • flying from the EU on any carrier,

then you should be aware of your rights in cases of delay, cancellation, and denied boarding. This website of the European Union explains them: http://ec.europa.eu/transport/air_po…rmation_en.htm

Thanks to FlyerTalk member Zorn for the tip.
